Privacy Policy
In one sentence: Twinsprig never asks for your name, email or phone number. The only things sent to our server are the moves you make in a level, a few gameplay events and crash reports, and you can delete all of it from inside the app: Settings → Delete my data.
Who we are
Twinsprig is made by an independent developer. For any privacy question or request, write to rosskymedia@gmail.com.
We never ask who you are
The app requests no name, email, phone number or social account. On first launch it creates an anonymous account (a random identifier issued by Google Firebase) purely so your records survive closing and reopening the app.
What we send to our server
| Kind | Contents | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level clears | level id, swipe sequence, swipe count | The server replays the sequence to verify a record is genuine. This is the only reason the sequence is sent. |
| Gameplay events | level started, cleared or failed; hint used; ad watched; share tapped | To find levels that are too hard and rebalance them. |
| Crash reports | error message, app version, device model, Android version, free memory, the screen that was open | To fix crashes. |
Data is stored and processed on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase), which may be located outside your country.
Data that stays on your device
Game progress, your settings (sound, vibration, theme, language, daily reminder) and the sign-in token of the anonymous account.
What we do not collect
Precise location, contacts, photos, audio, camera, browsing history or payment details. The app does not request those permissions. Its complete permission list, measured on the release build on 28 October 2026: internet access, network state, vibration, notifications (used only if you turn on the daily seed reminder, which shows at most one local notification a day and sends nothing to us), the Advertising ID and the Android Privacy Sandbox ad permissions that ship with the ads SDK, plus a few technical permissions from Google Play services.
Advertising
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. To select and measure ads and prevent ad fraud, the AdMob SDK collects your device's Advertising ID, your IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), basic ad interactions and diagnostic information, and shares them with Google. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before ads are initialised, and you can choose non-personalised ads. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads). See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Third parties
We use Google Firebase (anonymous sign-in, database, server functions) and Google AdMob (advertising). We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.
Your controls
Open Settings → Delete my data in the app. We delete your records, your gameplay events and the anonymous account itself from our servers, and wipe your progress on the device. This cannot be undone. You can also ask by email: see Delete your data.
How long we keep data
Records are kept until you delete them. Gameplay events and crash reports are kept for at most 14 months, then deleted.
Children
Twinsprig is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact rosskymedia@gmail.com and we will delete it.
